THE BEEKEEPER

My name´s Santiago del Pozo Cuevas, and I´m Veterinary degree by University of Leon, specialized in Animal Production.

In 2006 I began to keep the first bee hive, some time later I studied a beekeeping course with Flor,my wife , that helps me in different tasks.

I´ve promoted different ways for bee multiplication and nowadays I carry on training and getting innovation advances in bee welfare and production

I consider on myself as a farmer who keeps healthy bees that make  the best Leonese honey of 2015.

My philosophy bets on sustainable development, and innovation, so as this activity is perfectly integrated in the territory for improving pollination for farming and agriculture.
